Pharrell’s ‘Marilyn Monroe’ Music Video Features Every Girl Ever

Sticking with his G I R L theme, Pharrell’s new music almost literally features every single girl ever. Skateboard P is seen dreaming about being in a fantasy land filled with “different” girls.

As Pharrell states in the song, “I just want a different girl”, he’s stating that he doesn’t want a girl like Marilyn Monroe. He doesn’t want what everyone else wants. This video is Pharrell’s slight tribute to all the different girls out there. Check out the video and let us know what you think of it!

What’s your State’s Favorite Music Genre?

You love folk music? Than Nevada might be the place for you. How about bluegrass? Oregon is a hotbed for that genre. Movoto, an online real estate broker created a map of the United States that show all of the “hot zones” for particular genres. According to Movoto, they gathered all the statistics from “the National Endowment of the Arts, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis (via the Martin Prosperity Institute) and state level music preferences from Wikipedia.”

Some of the information definitely surprised us. We knew that country music was huge in Nashville but who knew it was huge in Los Angeles as well? How about Minneapolis and Seattle being a stronghold for hip hop and rap music? Take a look at the map by clicking on the image above or click here and let us know what you think of the map!
