Around the time of NYE I always seem to forget that the ultimate party isn’t necessarily on December 31st, but the first week of January! Each year HARD presents Holy Ship. The ultimate DJ cruise vacation. I’m super bummed I missed the cut off for this year but at least I get to live through erikvoake’s posts. This is a great shot of Alvin Risk. Love him! - j.g.
This post is so great. I love the idea of a writers group, and friends, and spending time using a pen and paper. It’s such a great end of the year music moment. -s.d.
LaineO looks like she’s ready for a road trip! This is a great photo with some cool driving music. Thanks for the tips! I’ll have to keep that in mind on my next road trip and be careful not to put lip balm in direct sunlight…
How cool is this?! Martha is like an 80s hero, and seeing her post this piece of history is pretty awesome. VJs were such a transformative part of music history, and this post really just brought all of that together for me. - s.d.
Where ever this place is, it sure is beautiful! I think my favorite part of the holidays are the lights. Luckily, some people have kept theirs up. Cheers!

Glad to know that there’s another person out there that loves this song as much as I do! Glamorous Indie Rock n’ Roll is (in my opinion) one of the most underrated songs by The Killers. I would have loved to seem them perform it live too! - j.g.
My favorite part of Thanksgiving (besides getting to eat a massive meal) is getting to see everyone’s food porn of their dinners. Deena71 I’m so jealous of your feast! - s.s.
