Ron Burgundy teams up with Robin Thicke to create the funniest duet cover ever. Ron and Robin sings their rendition of “Ride Like the Wind” by Christopher Cross and they pull it off flawlessly. Robin Thicke kills it with his amazing vocals while Ron Burgundy provides his classic commentary and humor. He does however sing a little during the chorus and echos, “Such a long way to goooo”. Ron however proves he is not just a glorified hype-man as he closes the song out with a crazy flute solo. Anchorman 2 is set release on December 18th and this cover is also on the movie soundtrack. Check it out and prepare yourself for a good laugh!

“We want to create a movement of people who enjoy this type of style and can go out and stand out.” - Scott
Electric MVMT is an up and coming apparel company that specializes in light up apparel. We sat down with two of the founders of Electric MVMT Scott and Shaun to chat about their company and their electric idea.
How did Electric MVMT get started?
Scott: Shaun and I basically grew up together as childhood best friends. Throughout our lives, we’ve always been interested in food, fashion, and music. The idea of Electric MVMT was born on New Year’s Eve, 2009 at a Girl Talk concert. Actually, Shaun had this idea after he attended Moogfest down in Asheville, North Carolina. He was also the one who introduced us to Girl Talk telling us, “You gotta check this guy out!” When we decided we were going to get together on New Year’s Eve to see Girl Talk, Shaun designed our costumes- a hoodie lined with luminescent wire. At the show, people went crazy for our hoodies. Not only did we receive complements, but offers to buy the hoodies off our backs! In October 2012, we formed our team, launched our website and our product. We’ve had a lot of fun selling hoodies, mainly music fans, all over the world.
What is SoundTracking your life right now?
Shaun: I’m heavy in the electronic and hip-hop music. I just got back from Moogfest yesterday so I’m listening to music from the artists that I saw perform. Deltron had a great show and Animal Collective was probably my favorite. I also really enjoyed Pretty Lights’s set with like a 25 person live band. I’ve seen him before and it’s usually just on the decks so this was awesome. French horns included! It got so damn funky. Cut Copy was also really good. That’s what I’ve been listening to lately.
Scott: I’m seeing Phish tonight and then I’m going to see their Halloween set. What’s cool about Phish is that band considers their fifth person to be Chris Kuroda, the light artist. He plays the lights with the instrument. It’s unreal. I don’t know if you know the tradition for Phish’s Halloween concert, but the band plays three full sets. In the middle, they’ll play something like The Allman Brothers’ Eat a Peach all the way through. I’ve also been listening to Fuck Buttons, Kanye’s Yeezus and Radiohead recently.
If you were stranded on a deserted island, what album and hoodie would you take with you?
Scott: You can’t say Miley Cyrus’ “Wreaking Ball” Shaun.
Shaun: Gosh, what album would I take with me? First, I’d go with a black and blue hoodie and what album? I can listen to majority of all OutKast CDs from front to back.
Scott: I have one album- The Kings of Limbs (Radiohead). I think it’s almost a perfect album.
We couldn’t agree more with Shaun and Scott’s music choices. If you are interested in purchasing some awesome light-up apparel check out their website ElectricMVMT. We recently wrapped up our Halloween giveaway with Electric MVMT which you can read more about here.
Candy, costumes, jack-o’-lanterns, and having fun! That pretty much sums up what Halloween is all about. This year’s Halloween went off without a hitch! Are you feeling sick from all the candy yet? Here at SoundTracking, we love Halloween! Each of our staff members decided to share with you a song that best describes what Halloween means to them!
Halloween is my favorite holiday. It’s pretty unfortunate that I won’t be celebrating that big this year (staying in and studying for the GMAT), but I hope everyone else has a good time!
The ultimate Halloween Song. Zombies on the March!
This song is probably my favorite Halloween song. Always love listening to the Misfits as well!
