We’re excited to announce some big news on how you enjoy music using SoundTracking! Many of you told us that you love being able to discover and share new music on SoundTracking, but wished for more ways to listen to an entire song beyond the clip. Well, we’ve been working on a simple and fluid way that lets you enjoy the best-matching music videos and full-length versions of songs you find on SoundTracking!
Today, we’re happy to share with you our new Smart Play feature which is now available in the latest version of SoundTracking:

*All SoundTracking app users will be able to view YouTube music videos inside their app. To use Spotify and Rdio options, install the music service app for iOS or Android to your mobile device.

We’ve covered some pretty awesome features of SoundTracking for Spotify and today we’ll discuss how to Like, Love and Comment in Spotify!
Listening to SoundTracking post with a catchy song and a super cool photo? You can show how great you think the post is by liking, loving and commenting while in Spotify!
While looking at a SoundTracking post you’ll notice the stars, hearts and comment bubbles at the bottom of each post.

Click on a star to like or a heart to love. Your action will turn light blue. You can also view the SoundTracking post on the soundtracking website by clicking the box and arrow image.

Comment on the post by clicking the comment bubble. A comment box will generate and you’ll be able to view other soundtrackers who have commented on the post.

You can do this on any post in any feed! Show some love on your favorite SoundTracking posts!

Today: playing a full length track on SoundTracking in Spotify!
Want more music? You can listen to full length songs of any SoundTracking post in Spotify. All you have to do is press play!
Want to discover cool new music? In SoundTracking, hover over a post on the Trending Wall and click to start listening to the full length song.

You can tell what SoundTracking post is playing by the highlighted white border around the post or at the bar along the bottom.

Once the song is over it will automatically start playing the next song on the page! Continue listening to all of the SoundTracking posts that are currently on Trending by just letting the music play on.

You can also listen to full length SoundTracking posts on your friend Feed, a Friend’s profile or your own SoundTracking profile!

Today: adding an Instagram photo to your SoundTracking post!
Listening to an awesome song that would pair perfectly with one of your Instagram pictures? Now you can easily add your favorite Instagram photo to a SoundTracking post!
In the post creation screen, click on the Instagram button under “Add a Pic.”
More on creating a SoundTracking post in Spotify

Click the Instagram button in the popup window to verify that you want to sign in.
Enter your Instagram username and password.
You’ll be able to scroll through your recent pictures; select one by clicking on it.
Personalize your post some more!
Press “Share It!” to post!
Congrats! You’ve just soundtracked with an Instagram photo!
